Lotus Foods Rice Ramen Noodle Cups: All Lots and Best-By Dates

Lotus Foods is voluntarily recalling Noodle Cups due to a potential microwave fire hazard with the packaging of the noodle products.   The packaging is not microwave-safe. Consumers have reported noodle cups sparking or catching fire while being heated in a microwave. 

Affected product includes:

Red Miso Rice Ramen Noodle Soup
Masala Curry Rice Ramen Noodle Soup
Tom Yum Rice Ramen Noodle Soup

There is no hazard with respect to the noodles or spice packet in the cup and the product is safe to eat.  The concern is with the packaging.  Consumers should not microwave the noodle cups.

Notification of recalls have been posted at points of sale, as well as our customer service desks and the affected product has been pulled from our shelves.
