January’s Seeds for Change Recipient is Centro del Pueblo.
They are a women-led nonprofit organization defending Human Rights in Humboldt County and uplifting Indigenous culture through events centered on Food Sovereignty, healing traditions, Civil Rights, legal support, and media outreach.
When you round up at the register this January, you’ll be supporting Centro del Pueblo’s work with migrant families, preventing food insecurity and hunger amongst Latinx families and new migrants.
