The small casual pumpkin patch of 40 years ago carries on as a beloved and lasting tradition for many schools and generations across Humboldt County. We often hear comments from parents and teachers that they recall visiting the Co-op Pumpkin Patch as young students! This year, children from 22 different schools participated in another amazing Co-op Pumpkin Patch field trip. The students, teachers, and chaperones were delighted to see local food growing and being harvested at Wild Rose Farms, the same food that is sold right in our co-op! It was another magical year at the Co-op Pumpkin Patch.
