Voting for the Board of Directors election is now open!Â
Unlike conventional grocers, the Co-op is collectively owned by the people who shop here, and Co-op owners vote to elect our Board of Directors. Participate in the Co-op’s democratic process by helping choose candidates for two open seats.Â
Those you elect serve on the Board as representatives accountable to all Co-op owners. The Board oversees our strategic direction, financial stability, and governance policies, and makes recommendations to Co-op management. It also listens to owner feedback and ensures we remain a model of sustainable, equitable business that contributes positively to our community.Â
Vote online at northcoast.coop/vote or in-store at a voting station.Â
Every Co-op owner will receive an official ballot by mail, included in this year’s combined Election Guide, Annual Statement, and Annual Report. Look for it in your mailbox shortly after voting opens. Mailed ballots can be dropped in the ballot box in-store or mailed back.Â
You can view the full election guide, including candidate statements, at northcoast.coop/electionguide.Â
