Cooperative Community Fund 2023 Grant Recipient Highlight

Dream Quest

Dream Quest was granted $1,600 from the Co-op’s Cooperative Community Fund in June of 2023. Funds were for their Dream Quest Youth Service Learning project.

The Dream Quest Youth Service Learning Project empowers youth to examine barriers that the Willow Creek region faces and how they can help contribute to make a difference. Through this program local youth are able to learn the value of investing in their community. This grant funded four senior lunches, where youth helped to plan, cook and serve, and spend valuable time with community members while building meaningful connections. Youth also participated in packing weekly food bags for distribution to low-income families, picked up trash, planted a tree at the post office and offered face painting at a Fire Safe Fair.
