Nature’s Path Foods has issued a voluntary recall on its frozen waffle varieties.  Products included in the recall are as follows:

“As you may already be aware, on October 18, TreeHouse Foods announced a voluntary recall of several frozen waffle products in the U.S. and Canada due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. 

To date, there have been no confirmed reports of illness linked to the recalled products. Out of an abundance of caution, Nature’s Path will be issuing a voluntary recall on all its frozen waffle products in the US and Canada produced between October 2023 to October 2024.

The recall was the result of a routine sampling program by TreeHouse Foods, which revealed that the finished products contained the bacteria. TreeHouse Foods has ceased the production and distribution of the product as the FDA and company continue their investigation as to what caused the problem. 

These specific batches are being voluntarily recalled out of an abundance of caution. No other products or lots within the U.S. are impacted by this voluntary recall. Consumers requesting a refund for the affected product should return the product to their retailer. Consumers may also contact Nature’s Path consumer services at 1-866-880-7284 (between Monday and Friday) or email at ConsumerServices@naturespath.com.

If you have purchased the product listed above, please dispose of the contents and return packaging to either North Coast Co-op location for a full refund.  Notifications of this recall will be posted at the point of sale as well as at our Customer Service desks. Co-op members who have purchased these items within the last 30 days will be notified directly. These products were available in both our Arcata and Eureka stores, and the lots recalled were present on the shelf.
