From the Company:
“At Yogi, we value the consumer experience and have high standards related to our Organic program. As part of a recent annual audit, a raw material sample of Echinacea tested above the acceptable limit for multiple pesticides. While there is no health or safety risk, the ingredient’s quality is not in alignment with our product standards, packaging statements, or our company values.
In response, we have initiated a Class 3 Recall protocol to remove all products with this ingredient [remaining] in circulation. Further, we are no longer sourcing any product from the supplier who provided this ingredient. Yogi’s Sourcing and Quality Teams are working in lockstep to ensure we continue to meet the high expectations we hold for our products.”

If you have purchased the product listed above, please dispose of any remaining product and return packaging with receipt (if available) to either North Coast Co-op location for a full refund. Notifications of this recall will be posted at the point of sale as well as at our Customer Service desks. Co-op members who have purchased this item within the last 30 days will be notified directly. These products were available in both our Arcata and Eureka stores, and the lots recalled were present on the shelf.
