Co-op Calendar 

Member-owners are invited to join North Coast Co-op Board of Directors for a dynamic Board Retreat. Space is limited so please RSVP to Membership Coordinator or call (707) 382-3109 by March 13 for this opportunity.

The day will start with Glenda Hesseltine, a Tai Chi teacher, motivational speaker for wellness and counseling psychologist. Glenda has over  30 years’ experience working with groups "moving together in unison and harmony" and the morning will focus on bringing the group together.

Following a break for lunch, member-owners are invited to observe the Board of Directors as they work with two local facilitators, Ron White and Kelly Boehms, on board vision and committee forming.  Ron White has been involved with grassroots social change strategies for over 30 years with a strong focus on community organizing and community based development.  He’s worked with and helped fund worker co-ops, consumer co-ops, community development financial institutions (including community credit unions and community banks) and farm co-operatives, the largest of which is the multi-state Federation of Southern Co-operatives which arose out of the civil rights movement in the black belt South. He is current board chair of PICO Organizing Network and works at the Humboldt Area Foundation as Leadership Program Manager. 

Kelly Boehms is a past Co-op board member, employee and current facilitator for True North Organizing Network.
