Hello Co-op Members,
The Co-op’s fiscal year began on March 26. The Co-op’s financials in the new fiscal year show a profit and an increase in Cash on Hand, which is a great way to start a new year.
The Co-op’s annual audit went smoothly and will be discussed at the Finance Committee on July 27. If the Finance Committee recommends so, the Board will vote to approve the audit at the Board of Directors meeting on August 3. Members are encouraged and welcome to attend the Finance Committee meeting and Board meeting which will be via Zoom. Agendas with Zoom information are available a week prior to meetings on the Co-op website calendar at www.northcoast.coop/calendar/. Or you can be added to an email list to automatically receive agendas by emailing admin@northcoast.coop.
The 50th Anniversary Party Planning is in full swing. The Celebration will take place on Sunday, August 20, on I street in front of the Arcata store. This will be a community celebration. There will be music, food, and reminiscing of the years gone by.
