September Seeds for Change Recipient: Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)
Seeds for Change 2021 September
CASA of Humboldt recruits, trains and ultimately swears in adult volunteers at the Humboldt County Superior Court. These advocates represent local children and youth without any other adult support, as well as speak for them after they have been placed in the foster care system.
When you round up at the register this September, you are helping local children spend less time in court and less time within the foster care system.
