Volunteer for the Co-op's CCF Grant Committee
Cooperative Community Fund
The Co-ops Cooperative Community Fund (CCF) was started in 1999 and has since granted over $475,000 to support groups working to improve the community. At its inception it was said that “money shall be raised, and the Foundation administered so that every Co-op member and donor feels proud, effective and special. Money shall be distributed in a fashion to create goodwill throughout our community.”
Over the last 20+ years there have been different iterations of who helps decide how to donate funds from CCF. We want to ensure that the original intentions remain strong; that members and donors feel proud and effective in administering CCF Funds.
Starting in 2021 we started a new process to encourage Co-op members to apply to volunteer on the CCF Grant Committee. The CCF Grant committee reviews grant applications and make recommendations of who to fund. Three members volunteered on the committee in 2021 and did an excellent job.
Applications to volunteer on the committee will be accepted now through February 28, 2022.
